Aidan - Canon - Quinn: June 2010

Aidan, Canon, and Quinn are super lucky to have Todd for a Daddy. He's such a good daddy. He can make them laugh, make them feel better, make them think, make them push themselves a little more, and make them feel loved. It's a joy to watch him with them.....here are a few of our amazing daddy and his kiddos out at Botanic Gardens.

My Big Backyard

Daddy went and took pictures out at Botanic Gardens....so we met up with him afterwards. The kids were so excited....they love the new area, My Big Backyard. We had a great time but didn't last long because it was so HOT! The loved the balance beam, the tunnels, the playhouses, and of course playing in the sand. We also ventured over to the dinosaur area as well!

Mud Island

After some research I found, what I believe to be, the only Pirate Ship in Memphis, TN! Mud Island has paddle boats...swans, a dragon, and a pirate ship!!!!! We headed to Mud Island and let the kiddos walk the river walk. I always forget how much fun it is to go there and the kids were so excited. We got to the end and had a snack and then boarded the pirate ship......It was a great day together celebrating Canon's birthday!

Canon is 4.......ARRRRRR!

Canon turned 4 and wanted a Pirate birthday. Todd, of course, made him a pirate ship cake. On his actual birthday we hung out at home and swam and then had cake. He had to put on pirate gear to blow out his candles. He is our little character! He's always smiling, he's all boy, sweet, and loves to tell jokes! He makes us laugh all the time. Happy Birthday to our sweet boy!

Canon's birthday present was a playset. Todd designed and built it.....it's still not quite finished, but the kids are already loving it!

Swim Lessons

While Aidan was at baseball camp, Canon was taking swimming lessons. He did really well. It was a taste of me running around from activity to activity....a sign of things to come! Canon loved going and jumped off the side and learned lots of cool things. Now everytime we get in the pool we have to do "swimming lessons" including wrapping a noodle around him! Quinn likes to do it too....so cute!
