Pickwick with G-pa and Janet

Dad and Janet came up for a visit the weekend before school started. We had such a good time visiting with them. We went to Pickwick and stayed overnight, they rented a boat and we went out on the Lake for the day. It was so much fun. We think Aidan will become a professional tube rider! The boy didn't want to get off the tube! We all had a really fun time and we're so happy they came up to spend time with us.

G-pa and Aidan were up first......G-pa introduced Aidan to the world of "tricks"......he LOVED it!Then we took a little break and went and checked out this waterfall that you could jump off of. G-pa, Todd, and Janet were there, jumping in no time. I was happy to hang out with the kiddos until the peer pressure started. Yes, I finally caved and jumped off that thing (YIKES!!!) I sat a little too soon and my back side was not happy with me! But I did it!G-pa with all the kiddos.....Quinn fell asleep on the tube while riding. Yes, like sleeping, snoring, eyes closed, asleep! We wore her out."Dad, Janet, why don't you ride?""We know the perfect driver"......heehee!
"No, get us off this thing!!!!!""Who's in charge here?"
We love you guys, thanks for a great time!

3rd grade

Yes, that's right.....3rd grade. Halfway through elementary school. Ok, I'm depressed now! Our oldest was SO happy to see the first day of school arrive. Aidan has new shoes, a closet full of polos (his favorite attire! so funny), and an array of Beatles lunchboxes. Oh, and he still has his long hair, he does not want us to buzz it anymore! He was up and ready way before it was time to go! Backpack.........is..........very..........heavy!Not kidding he has 4 different Beatles lunchboxes......he rotates them. No one in his class knows who those 4 guys are! haha This is SO Todd.....new balance and Beatles......a mini version of his Daddy!Aidan and Malena! We made a little treat bag full of goodies for Mrs. Berry and Aidan, aka Mr. Creative, made her a note and formed it into the shape of a pencil! Look at all those BOOKS! We are so excited for another great year. We have been so happy with Aidan's school and he loves it too.
