Knox Vegas

So last Friday I loaded three children into our van after work and got on I-40 East....headed to Knoxville (or as we lovingly refer to it...Knox Vegas) Ashley, Chris, and Addie were coming from California and we couldn't wait to see them! Todd, was on a plane to New York...(keep reading the other blogs, you'll see why) and so I braved the 6 hour trip with 3 kids by myself. The first hour I thought I would just turn around, but we pushed through it and after that it was really smooth sailing to K-ville.

The first hour happened like this....Quinn got sick (Augmentin) changed her clothes put her back in the van, on we go.....10 minutes later Canon screams, "I have to go POT-TY!" I pull over at the next exit, go to get him out and he smiles and says, "I don't need to go!" "You don't?" "Nope, I went in my seat!"(very proud look on his face) we change HIS clothes, clean his seat, and back on the road. About 10 minutes later, "We are STARVING!" So we pull over AGAIN! Honestly, I think at this rate we might get there Sunday. But I fed them and they were happy the rest of the way.

Our visit with everyone was so worth every second of the trip! We had a blast with Ashley, Chris, and Addie and also got the bonus of seeing Stacey and Mike and Cameron and Elliott! Here are a few from Knox Vegas.

All the grandchildren with Juanita....why does Canon always have his mouth open you ask? Because he is screaming!
Let's throw the ball in your mouth game.....a really fun one!

Handsome!

Such an actress!

The Blakes! Miss you guys!
Nina and Pots with all the grandkids....
4 kids and 2 photographers, this is the best we could do! haha

Don't worry, we'll just photoshop Todd in :-)

GO VOLS!!!!

Don't think I've ever said that....but when in Knoxville do as the Knoxvilleans do......The kiddos were dressed in all orange (thanks to Pots and Nina) and we enjoyed watching the game and playing! Ironically they were playing Memphis and they creamed them! Go Vols!

I love this look....the girls!
Addie all smiles....
Aidan......really wanted to play Harry Potter Clue, but pretended to be interested in the game
Sweet Addie!
Pots getting Addie.....I think she likes it!

Live like no one else......

Well in October we officially became DEBT FREE!!!!! except our mortgage (you can watch us on tv this Friday, November 20th on the Dave Ramsey Show....Fox Business Channel 7pm central time!!!!!) Todd has been looking for another RX-7 for a while and when one became available in Connecticut at just the right time, he was on a plane to NYC. He got to see the city for the first time, meet up with a great friend, and then drive home in his almost new 16 year old car. I'm not a car person, but this one is AMAZING! 6,000 miles, impeccable! We even cleaned out and painted our garage for it....that's serious love, haha! Here are the few pics that Todd took before he drove home the 6th and newest member of our family! If you want to be debt free go buy the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey.....if we can do it, you can too! Live like no one else, so later...you can LIVE like no one else!

Shhhhh......

She's sick, sleepy, snoring, and absolutely adorable!

The land of Wii Remotes

Last Christmas my dad brought the kids a Wii, we had 3 remotes for about 1 month and now we are down to one. I have searched the house, cleaned closets, junk drawers, looked under beds, in trash cans, etc.....no luck. The other day Todd picked up his speaker to move it and it rattled like crazy. He busted it open and it was like Christmas!!!! We had one very busy little girl stuffing things in that speaker like crazy!

The Lollipop Play

Proof we have too much Halloween Candy....

Aidan: "Canon, there is a lollipop on your pants!"
Canon: "A wee-pop? Where?"
Quinn: thinks to herself...."I was wondering where I left that!"

Trick or Treat

Before we headed to our neighbors house for their annual Halloween get-together, we had to get pictures of the best looking Harry Potter(getting his serious face on), Dino-ROAR(he said the glasses made him a DUDE!), and little Tink(my dad's nickname for me, yes even still!) Thanks again Mymom for getting us the best Halloween costumes! We ate way too much pizza, had fun with the neighbors, and then went out with a group of about 15 kids trick or treating. We had a blast!
