3 months old and the swimsuit shoot

Here's our baby Quinn. She's amazingly changed at 3 months old. She rolls over from belly to back, she smiles, she coos, she absolutely LOVES bath time, and she is still adored by her brothers. (mom and dad are quite smitten as well!) Since she's hit the 3 month mark, we decided she was ready for her first swimsuit shoot and we think she really is a great bikini model. The belly just makes us laugh!

Talking, Sleeping, and Punching.....

Aidan and Quinn had some good bonding time today. Aidan held Quinn several times today and not only did she "talk" to him, but she's just started reaching for things. She was grabbing and "punching" his face. He thought it was a great time and it was too cute to not share. Especially when she just fell asleep in his arms. There was only one minor meltdown and it was so funny, Aidan called Quinn "girly girl" and she went from smiling and happy to balling and sad. I guess she's gonna be like her mom, tomboy!

Sleeping on the job

I have been back to work for a few weeks now. I just work Friday during the day and Sunday at night. It's great being back and the kids love "Daddy nights" (we used to call them "boy nights" Quinn changed that!) So, Friday when I got home from work, Todd handed me the camera. I died laughing. Aidan wanted to help Daddy out; so Todd got him all set to give Quinn a bottle. It must have been a boring job, as you can see, Aidan passed out. It's tough work being a big brother!

7 years......wow!

Yes, Todd and I have been married for that long! Hard to believe, but true. We got married on the beach in Cocoa Beach, FL (home for me) and had a great time. It was laid back and fun, a perfect day(after it rained all morning!) Here are a few photos, you'll have to excuse the quality, they are scanned, we got married back in the day of film photography! Here's to many more!

The many faces of Quinn

We were outside and Quinn was in her stroller and (as always) Canon could not leave her alone. She started making all these crazy faces, and they were too cute. I love her wide eyed face. Her eyes are so big to begin with, but when she is surprised or something comes along that she's not expecting, her eyes just get huge! Her little personality is really starting to shine.

Bathing suit and boots

One of my mottos is "Choose your battles" so when we let the boys play out front in the sprinkler and Canon chose this ensemble, not only did I "ok" it, but I helped him put the boots on! He's so silly!

Pretty in Pink

This is Quinn's first smocked dress. It is a "Creation by Nina" and was given to us long before we even knew we were having a girl! Nina(Todd's mom, Linda) asked for a picture of Quinn in it so we got her all "gussied up" and took a few. Aidan immediately started singing (he's always making up songs about everything). He sang, "My little princess pretty in pink, my little princess is so sweet!" He is such a sweet big brother!

Meet Rosie

This is Rosie. Rosie the redbird. She is Quinn's most favorite toy. She hangs on her car seat handle and when Quinn catches a glimpse of her, she smiles like crazy. She coos and talks to Rosie. Quinn was so fascinated by Rosie on this particular day, I just had to share.

Canon turns 2!

Our little boy is growing up. Canon turned 2 on Wednesday(June11th). The theme of the day, you ask? Why buses of course. He wore his "weh-woah"(yellow) shirt, opened "weh-woah" wrapped presents, and got a remote control bus, remote control firetruck, some tools, and a pop-up bus tent that he absolutely loves. He also got some Word World DVD's, a remote control car, and an awesome plasma car(like a Turtle for us old folks!) and of course some birthday money(thank you everyone!) We had a family day; we woke up and he opened his presents, then Daddy took his 2 year old picture, and then we just played. He had his favorite pizza for dinner and then we finished the night off with a famous-Daddy decorated cake, in the shape of a bus of course! It was a fun day all about Canon(and buses!)

More pics from Florida........

No matter how old I get or where my mom lives, it's still "going home" to Florida. She still takes care of me (and now my 3 children as well!) It's nice being one of "the kids" again while I'm there. We had a great time and it was really fun to watch my brother and sisters interact with Aidan, Canon, and Quinn. Even though they are teenagers, have lives of their own, and well, they're teenagers....they still love to play and spend time with the little ones. We love and miss you guys!

Notice the arms, the rolls are coming. But she is rockin those sunglasses!
BUBBLES!

We went and had a great dinner at the port and Aidan and Canon loved watching the boats come in. It was a perfect evening with the family.
Self-portrait of all the girls.
