Flemings.......FUNKY
You've been Boo'd
There is a new Halloween thing going called booing....it's not scary, just a fun treat for friends. We got boo'd by Aidan's friend Jake and so we went out a boo'd a few of our neighbors. If you want to boo...go HERE!
Yes, it was THAT cold! Not looking forward to this winter....BRRRRRR!
Fall Fun Fest
Every year our church puts on the best Fall Fun Fest. There are bouncies and games and candy and shows and food, what more could you want? This year we invited Aidan's buddy Jake to go with us. So I had 2 Harry Potters, a dinosaur, and a tinkerbell. We had "Mummy Dogs" before we left and Aidan thinks I am a gourmet chef...love it! We had a great time and although they could have stayed forever, I was exhausted! We have to thank Mymom for the amazing Halloween costumes. There will have to be of course, real pictures in them, but the kids all love their costumes....especially Aidan. Is he not the cutest Harry Potter ever?
Quinn knew where the candy was and couldn't stay out of it.....
Harry "J" and Harry "A"
There is really no point in me dressing Quinn until we get wherever we are going. Every time we get in the car...bow is out, shoes are off, and socks are as well. On the way to church she all the sudden is screaming at the top of her lungs. I look back and she is struggling to get her "socks" off, which are tights. She was so mad she couldn't get them off. So I tried to distract her by singing her ABC's (LOVES to sing Abc's) and she was twirling her loose stocking all around. The screaming stopped, but I still had to re-dress her when we got there. If you see a van with a naked child in the back, it's me! I'll dress her when we get there......haha
Hopskotch mommy.....please
Odd requests are common in this house. The other day Canon asked me to play hopskotch with him. Hopskotch? I didn't even know that he knew what that was! SURE! I had to draw it in the garage because it has been raining here for about 2 months now( a little exaggeration, but really SO MUCH RAIN!) We had so much fun playing and he did pretty good, even on one foot. Quinn walked around with the chalk bucket as her purse and kept sneaking out in the rain.
